Austria Trend Salzburg Mitte Hotel

It's quiet, 24h reception, clean, business-style processes for check-in/check-out, large parking space, Spar nearby to shop basic necessities, amazing beautiful scenery for a pick-nick about 300m towards the river (ask staff for directions if you can't find it yourself) contrary to some feedback seen. It's definitely a stop-over business hotel and not a honeymoon resort; and this is the niche people should consider when writing feedback: price/money excellent!! (Background: I have traveled all over the world and stayed in well over a 1000 hotels in the last decade, so I have balanced expectations.)

Staff could be friendlier, however then again arriving at 2am, one probably can't expect too much. The lady at the check-out the next morning was quite unfriendly, but then again, my wife's from Spain and I am Italian; we're probably still not quite adjusted to the cold northern countries' cultures.

1) Their toilet was leaking, the water was even running into the room and despite telling the front desk lady and the person they sent to check the problem they did nothing to solve it. 2) If we hadn't called a day before, we would not have known that they have changed us to another hotel location.

I think this hotel is a really beautiful one. It 's very comfortable & is the best of those that I stayed in while I was in Europe. I also like the fact that they are a hotel that is concerned about the environment.That's very good. The staff was excellent and very helpful

I don't have any major complaints about this hotel. The only problem is that of its location. The fact that I had to take 2 buses to get to the hotel from Salzburg was a problem for me.

The hotel was conveniently located for ease in reaching the highway.

The area immediately around the hotel is not picturesque.

New and very modern location very close of auto way. excellent servicies (free parcking, internet, a/c) pleasant staff (restaurant/bar) excellent breakfast. just one inconvenient: is too far from the historical center and the most facile way to arrive there is taxi. otherwise, this small town is wonderful, amaizing, a little bit expance, but it worse; certainly we'll come back and visit it again....

Extremely modern and incredible value for money. Staff very helpful in enabling me to check in for my flight and with information regarding public transport into the city. Free parking

Little bit difficult to locate if arriving by car. Drove past it twice

Very comfortable and clean, its basically a business hotel and if you have a car thats a win/win situation. Free internet is a bonus.

Convenient location near motorway. Easy to find. Good soundproofing to neutralise traffic noise. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast. Good value for money in Salzburg.

Rather anonymous decor. Indifferent staff. Fan in bathroom did not shut off. Wireless did not work in room but OK in lobby. Convenient for our situation - arriving late in Salzburg and moving on to Bavaria early the next morning - but would not recommend as a city break hotel for a visit to Salzburg itself.

stylish, clean and comfortaable. apples and easter eggs at the reception although we didn't take breakfast.

It was very clean,and confortable. The room was very nice. You have there an internet terminal.

The only problem is that the city center is 5km from the hotel, and you have to have a car,to move around,or a lot of energy to walk 10 km to go an back,even it is difficult because, there is no good path to walk for peatons.
